One of the largest global eye care companies was in search of a unified records management solution. The current solution was a legacy OpenText Documentum system in the need of an upgrade and was also dispersed throughout several of the client’s locations across the globe. The costs associated with upgrading the solution due to the challenging nature of a new implementation and the consolidation,
prompted the search of the new Archive Record Retention solution.
Additionally, a spin-off dictated a move to a different infrastructure and turned into the driver of tight legal timelines. Together with Ephesoft, fme successfully completed the project based on Alfresco within the tight one-year timeline and the client was able to successfully spin-off systems on time and within budget.
